Beckington Astronomical Society (BAS) is now in its ninth 'full year' programme of astronomy related activities. Our membership continues to grow with a good mix of new and experienced amateur astronomers.
Our 2006/2007 astronomy programme covers a wide variety of astronomical subjects that reflects our members interests. The society's GOTO telescope, equipped with an SLR camera, will continue to provide excellent observing opportunities.
The Beckington Astronomical Society website contains general Society information together with a wide variety of useful astronomy resources including the latest astronomy and space news, 'live' sky charts, 'live' weather information, tips on observing and our monthly guide to "what's up?".
